The Ronzoni Institute for Chemical and Biochemical Research (1, Ronzoni) is traditionally devoted to study relationships between structure and biological activity of natural substances, especially carbohydrates and carbohydrate polymers and has grown experience in chemical derivatization of oligo- and polysaccharides and in the elucidation of their structure and binding properties, especially using advanced NMR methods.
