The Slovak Academy of Sciences (4, SAS), Institute of Chemistry, has made important contributions in the analysis of structure, conformation and dynamics  of carbohydrates in solution.  In collaboration with Ronzoni and UNIMI, has elucidated for the first time the conformation of glycosaminoglycan oligosaccharides bound to proteins. Facilities available in the group include a computing center with the ability to perform modeling calculations on complex molecules.
